As with any large US city, there is no shortage of shopping options in Denver. Most visitors tend to stick to Denver's downtown area for their shopping needs, which includes the popular 16th Street pedestrian mall, the individual stores around Larimer Square and the galleries of LoDo Arts District and the Golden Triangle Arts District.

The more energetic in Denver can head farther afield into the surrounding suburbs, where a number of huge shopping malls such as the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, south of downtown, are located. Denver is particularly popular for sporting goods, outdoor clothing and recreational gear.
